Musica Credentials

Over the years Musica have been successfully funded to deliver our workshops by Children In Need, The National Lottery, NHS, MENCAP, Suffolk Community Foundation, Awards for All and various other funding bodies and charities.

We have provided these workshops to many organisations including Papworth Trust, Leading Lives, Avenues, Topcats, WS Training, The Hamlet, Leaps, 4YP, Inside Out, Stowmarket ASD and Primary Schools (SEN).

Musica have also successfully delivered Rockschool and Arts Award qualifications to in excess of 150 students, many of which have gone on to study music through further education, universities and made their own careers in the music industry.

The safety and security of Musica workshop participants is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, all Musica workshop leaders have passed enhanced DBS checks, have undertaken Safeguarding, Disability Awareness and First Aid training. In addition, some Musica workshop leaders will have additional qualifications in Makaton Level 2 (Sign Language).

The Musica founders have many years’ experience of working with people with all forms of physical and mental health disabilities. They also have extensive music industry knowledge including performing at festivals, venues, studio sessions, song writing and are members of the Musician’s Union.
